At Peek & Poke we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This policy explains when and why we collect personal information when you use this website and play our games, along with how we use it and keep it safe.

Who are we?

We are Peek & Poke, we make games for brands. Peek & Poke is a trading name of Coopermatic Ltd. We are a company registered in England and Wales No 8962503 and our registered address is Sum Studios, Hartley Street, Sheffield, S2 3AQ.

What information is collected from you and how?

We request and collect information during game play on a voluntary basis.

If you wish to submit your score to the leader board and to enter any competitions when playing our games, we will request personally identifiable information which may include your name, email address, phone number, place of work, shoe size, etc.

If you use the contact form on our website we request your name, email address, phone number and that you write us a lovely little note all about your branded game requirements.

Other non-personal information (Such as the device you’re using, the web browser you use, your geographical location, etc.) may also be collected by Google Analytics which we use to monitor game and website traffic as well as user behaviour.  For more information on the cookies we use and how we use them please review our cookie policy.

Why is information being collected and how will it be used?

There are four reasons we may collect personally identifiable information.

  1. Respond to your enquiry

If you want an answer in response to your enquiry we’ll need your details to get back in touch.

  1. Leaderboard entry and competitions

We collect your name and a means of contact (generally an email address) for the sole purpose of informing you about the winner of the competition.

  1. Marketing mailing list

With your permission, we keep your submitted details for marketing purposes. We’d like to update you occasionally about our games, new products, blog post posts we’ve written or events we’re putting on. You can unsubscribe from these updates at any time.

  1. Game update notifications

With your permission, we use your submitted details for enhanced game functionality. If you opted in to receive game notifications, we may inform you via email of game related updates. For example, if you’ve been knocked off the leaderboard or if a friend has beaten your score (because you can’t let them get away with that!).

If you don’t like fun, you can unsubscribe from these updates at any time.

  1. Cookies

We use cookies within our website and games to ensure they work correctly and to ensure fair play. These do not contain any personally identifiable information until you submit your details to the game. Please read more about our cookie policy here.

Where is it held and how long do we keep it?

Our website and our games are hosted on secure cloud-based servers located within the EU.

The contact form and leaderboard data which includes your name, email address and marketing preferences is held in an encrypted database at a secure location within the EU.

Unless you have specifically requested to join our marketing mailing list, your personally identifiable information will be deleted at the end of the marketing campaign period.

We keep data back-ups for a maximum of two months after the campaign end in case of any sort of accidental deletion.

Who has access to your information?

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.

We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

If you have requested to be added to our mailing list, your name and contact details will be added to our preferred CRM system and e-marketing platforms which are secure and compliant with current EU data protection legislation and the EU-US Privacy Shield.

Please be assured that we will not release your information to third parties for them to use for their own direct marketing purposes, unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law (For example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime).

We may transfer your personal information to a third party as part of a sale of some or all of our business and assets to any third party or as part of any business restructuring or re-organisation, or if we’re under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation or to enforce or apply our terms of use or to protect the rights, property or safety of our supporters and customers. However, we will take steps with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected.

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from us. If you do not want to receive direct marketing communications from us about our latest game engines, products, services and other news, then you can select your choices by ticking the relevant boxes situated on the form on which we collect your information.
