Domino’s Delivery Dash

Delivering stand engagement with a side of prize giveaways!

Domino’s Pizza wanted to deliver a slice of fun to students attending their stand and we were happy to get a pizza the action!

Shopping around

When Lindsey McCaffrey of Domino’s Pizza Team West got in touch with last year, she was already pretty clear on what she wanted. And what she wanted was something big!

Domino’s were no strangers to gamification having used prize wheels at previous events – so when they started to see other stands using copycat techniques at the following year’s event, she knew they wanted to do something different.

We wanted something to draw in a crowd that was unique from what everyone else was doing

Placing an order

Lindsey got in touch and explained her vision for the stand as a whole, so we worked together to explore ways a game could drive footfall and add an extra layer to an already bustling stand.

There needed to be a way to support a tiered prize giveaway, capture data for prizes and the game itself needed to be simple and quick to play.

We found the right game and customisations to deliver on the objectives, all while advising on in its placement and display on an already busy and exciting stand.

The result? Delivery Dash!

Working with Peek & Poke was a breeze. The communication was great and whenever I needed to speak to someone they were always ready to answer my questions no matter what time of day or evening!

Delivering the goods

With their branded game fresh out of the creative oven, Domino’s were ready to deliver the fun to students across their target student fair dates. And, much like the delicious Domino’s Pizza itself, the game did not disappoint.

As Lindsey explains, “The game went down amazingly well at our student event. It definitely did what we wanted and drew the students in and was a great addition to complement the personality of our brand.

“We had over 3,000 players visit us on the day and the game was quick, interactive, fun and the students where addicted to beat each other to the top of the leader board to win the ultimate prize of free pizza for a year!

The game created a fun bustling atmosphere at the stand which was exactly what we wanted and the students still talk about this almost one year on!”

The final take away?

Like a classic Margherita, the Domino’s Delivery Dash was simple but oh so satisfying. So much so that Domino’s themselves are interested in coming back for another slice!

*sorry for all the puns throughout this case study, they were too irresistible. 🤤😜

The team fully understood my brief and made everything we wanted fit in the budget we gave them! We look forward to working with Peek & Poke again this year!
