2. Branded game competition

Similar to the virtual quiz idea above, why not use an online branded game to run a company-wide prize draw competition with giveaways in the form of donations? This is exactly what construction firm Rhodar did with their B2B Soccer Skill Shot campaign, where winners were asked to pick the charities themselves!

They added their logo and messaging to an existing customisable game, with a unique URL that was then easy to share via promotional emails and on their company LinkedIn page.

3. Exercise-related fundraisers

Exercise-related fundraising events are a fantastic way to promote wellness while supporting a good cause. Here are just a few ideas you could try out:

Sponsored fun run or walk
Charity bike ride or spinathon
Office danceathon
Treadmill marathon
Daily steps challenge

Participants can encourage donations from friends and family, with the amounts potentially match-funded by your employer.

4. Gamified totaliser

Office totalisers or fundraising thermometers are a fun way to track collective fundraising progress and keep everyone motivated. The totaliser itself isn’t necessarily a fundraising method, but there are creative things you can do with this format…

Just take hosting company Melbourne, who added a charity fundraising totaliser to their online competition and donated £5 to charity for every player who achieved a certain score!

They promoted it via their email newsletter and social media channels, with an average engagement time of 24 minutes per player. What’s more, they raised nearly £800 for children’s charity Lumos!

5. Office bingo night

Fancy a night at the bingo? This familiar format is fun and quick-paced, with entrants paying for their cards and playing to win prizes that could even be sponsored by business partners.

What’s more, it’s an adaptable format that lends itself well to creative twists that don’t necessarily involve crossing off numbers – think inside jokes, office references, and more!

6. Mailing list competition

We’re no strangers to prize competitions here at Peek & Poke. In 2023, our Yuletide Joyride competition included a pledge to donate £1 to Macmillan Cancer Support for each unique score submitted to the leaderboard (up to a maximum total of £500).
